Personal Life
Dana White was born on July 28, 1969, in Manchester, Connecticut, United States. He was raised primarily by his mother, June White, along with his sister Kelly White. White spent much of his youth moving between Connecticut, Las Vegas, and Maine as his family relocated several times.
White attended Hermon High School in Maine before briefly enrolling at University of Massachusetts Boston. However, he did not complete a degree and instead pursued business opportunities related to sports and fitness. In his early twenties, White began working in boxing as a trainer and manager while also running a boxing training program in Boston.
White met his future wife, Anne White, when they were teenagers in high school. The couple later married in 1996 and have maintained a long-term marriage despite White’s very public career in combat sports. Together they have three children: two sons, Dana White III and Aidan White, and a daughter, Savannah White.
White has largely kept his family life private, though he occasionally shares moments involving his children and wife in interviews or media appearances. Outside of his professional life, he is known for his strong interest in combat sports, gambling, and high-stakes poker, often spending time in Las Vegas casinos.

Career & Business
Dana White is best known as the longtime President and CEO of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), the world’s leading mixed martial arts promotion. In the late 1990s, White worked as a boxing manager for fighters Chuck Liddell and Tito Ortiz. During this time, he learned that the struggling UFC organization was available for purchase.
White approached childhood friends Lorenzo Fertitta and Frank Fertitta III, who bought the UFC in 2001 for about $2 million through their company Zuffa. White was installed as president and helped transform the organization into a global sports powerhouse.
A major turning point came with the launch of the reality TV series The Ultimate Fighter in 2005, which significantly increased the sport’s popularity and helped legitimize MMA in mainstream sports culture.
Under White’s leadership, the UFC expanded worldwide and signed major stars including Conor McGregor, Ronda Rousey, and Jon Jones.
In 2016, the UFC was sold to Endeavor (formerly WME-IMG) in a deal worth approximately $4 billion, one of the largest transactions in sports history. White remained president and retained a significant ownership stake.
In addition to the UFC, White has launched other ventures including Power Slap, a slap-fighting promotion, and has invested in various entertainment and sports businesses.

Beginning around 2016, White reportedly spent more than $20 million buying several neighboring properties in the Tournament Hills community in Las Vegas. He then demolished some of the homes and built a custom megamansion complex featuring a large main residence, guest houses, sports facilities, and extensive security.
In addition to his Las Vegas compound, White has owned vacation properties and luxury residences elsewhere, although details about some of these homes remain private.
The Las Vegas estate is designed to accommodate his family as well as private events and gatherings with athletes, business partners, and celebrities.
